Nada Nashashibi is a British Palestinian contemporary artist and creative designer. She was born in Jerusalem in 1983 and moved to Cyprus at the age of 18 to study Graphic Communications and Art at the International College of Cyprus. Inspired by both her parents, who painted in their spare time, Nada developed a deep appreciation for creativity from an early age.
She later moved to London to continue her studies and graduated with an Honours degree in Graphic Communications from the School of Art and Design at the University of Wolverhampton in 2005. Since then, Nada has remained active in the arts both in London and internationally, gaining a wealth of varied experience that continues to inform her work. Nada’s artwork is full of colour, depth and emotion. She believes deeply in peace, hope and love, and seeks to express these values through her creations.
She enjoys working across both two-dimensional and three-dimensional mediums, using her hands and fingers as tools to create texture, movement and unique effects. One of her more recent specialities is resin art, combining mixed pigments and alcohol inks or layering resin over textured surfaces to create striking depth and luminous finishes.
Her latest works are inspired by space, mysterious galaxies, black holes, stars and oceans. These themes give her a sense of freedom and endless joy. As a child, she remembers relaxing by the sea, listening to the waves and wondering what lay beyond the horizon and beneath the surface. From this imagination, Nada creates her own jellyfish-like forms and unknown sea creatures.
Some of Nada’s work is also influenced by the political landscape of her childhood in Jerusalem during the 1980s and 1990s. During times of unrest, she found escape in nature, the sky and the Mediterranean coast. Family weekends in Jericho and memories of watching shooting stars became lasting sources of comfort and inspiration.
Alongside her artistic practice, Nada also offers bespoke creative services including branding, graphic design, website design and visual content creation, bringing together artistic vision with professional design expertise.
In early 2026, Nada relocated to Dubai, where she continues to grow her creative practice and work with clients locally and internationally. Nada continues to create beautiful, expressive worlds for others to enjoy.
